Excitement is in the air as the second largest winter sports event in the world after the Winter Olympics gets underway. Minale Tattersfield is happy and proud to play a part in this important event for Trentino and for Italy.
Pulling off such a big event, basically 10 World Cups all happening at the same time in just 12 months instead of the usual 4 years for the winning host is a tremendous achievement for Trentino's organisers. The region's vast amount of experience in hosting world championships and annual ski world cups has undoubtedly paid dividends and will surely cement Trentino's reputation as the most sports oriented region in Italy.
We congratulate Trentino's Organising Committee who have worked tirelessly alongside the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
Our role was to create the brand platform, visual identity guidelines, strapline and the overall look and feel of Trentino 2013 which we called Crystal Nature, applied to all the field of play venues and events.
You can follow the event live on Eurosport. The ident which we were asked to create will be shown in between the different sporting events.
We also created the official celebratory Games posters, one for all athletes and sports officials, and another ('ice' version) for fans of Trentino 2013.
The 26th Winter Universiade - Trentino - Italy - runs from 11th to the 21st December 2013.
