Colin has improved the visitor experience in museums, galleries and historic properties for over 20 years. He trained as designer, focussing on the interaction between people, products and spaces.
For 12 years he worked at the V&A playing a key part in developing high quality galleries and facilities, applying commercial research and design techniques. His work helped shape many of the award-winning projects in the museum sector.
Colin now uses his experience and skills to support a range of clients - from museums, historic buildings and heritage sites to art galleries, print rooms and art fairs. He specialises in mapping audiences and their characteristics, analysing public spaces from the visitor's viewpoint, and creating innovative storylines/ narratives and interpretation.
Outside of work he enjoys long-distance cycling and is interested in early cinema and street theatre/clowning.
