An amazing turnaround
On December 21, 2013 the Closing Ceremony concluded the 26th edition of the Winter Universiade, licensed by the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
Trentino 2013 was the biggest Winter Universiade in history in terms of numbers of participants with 2667 members from 50 national member delegations.
In the 11 days of the Universiade, 78 events were held across 12 sporting events: Alpine Skiing, Biathlon, Cross-Country Skiing, Curling, Figure Skating, Freestyle, Ice Hockey, Nordic Combined, Short Track, Ski Jumping, Snowboarding and Speed Skating.
Our role was to create the brand platform, visual identity guidelines, strapline and the overall look and feel of Trentino 2013 which we called Crystal Nature, applied to all the field of play venues and events.
We were extremely excited and proud to have played a part in this important sporting event for Trentino, which is the second largest winter sports event after the Winter Olympics.
