Hans Gerber
Client Director - Sydney office
Hans runs the Sydney office and is one of Australia’s most respected multi-disciplinary designers. He gained a BA in Design at the Basel School of Design and also studied design at Kingston University in London.
He masterminded the way-finding and signage strategy and headed up the design team for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. He has also worked on a large number of other similar projects within the transport sector including Sydney Airport signage master-plan and manual, best practice guidelines for New South Wales Department of Transport and City of Sydney public transport way-finding system.
Being originally from Switzerland it is natural to understand why Han’s second biggest passion, after design of course, is to curve out perfect turns on a remote mountain slope and then relax with a glass of gluwein and a pot of fondue.
